Fine Black Shungite Powder for Gardening & Other Applications

This listing is for a very fine black shungite powder that is 100 percent shungite - no additives or fillers - straight from the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia, Russia. The consistency is about like cake flour. 

Simply fine ground shungite rock - that's it! 

Our shungite powder is offered in four different sizes depending on how much you need. 

Ground black shungite has been used for a variety of different purposes. Here are a few ideas:

• Gardening: Plants simply LOVE a little shungite mixed into their soil - this is my personal favorite; one recent study showed that adding a small amount of shungite powder to the soil of cucumber plants increased their resistance to environmental stresses (2 grams shungite powder per liter soil; a penny weighs 2.5 grams, for comparison)
• Soaps: Shungite powder can be added to homemade soaps for increased therapeutic benefits
• Skin care: Shungite paste (shungite powder plus water) can be used to treat pimples and other skin conditions due to its long history of skin benefits; I recommend testing your skin first with a tiny dab, to see how your skin reacts before going "full slather"
• Chicken feed additive for improved egg production: A recent study found that a very  small amount of shungite powder added to chicken feed significantly increased egg production (1/20th of a gram per 1 kg feed, which would be like 1/50th the weight of a penny)
• Around beehives: Shungite has been shown to protect bees, restore dwindling bee populations and help protect bees from colony collapse disorder (CCD)
• Shielding paint
• Orgonite & orgone energy generators
• Bran muffins (No, just kidding)

This powder IS messy, so I find it easiest to work with outside if possible, or prepare a work station appropriately because it does tend to get on everything.
